Blog 2: My PPC

So, yeah my lovely pocket pc. Opps, got my first error message, huzzah! I was like, .... how do I reset..... yeah..... but I got all the programs and things like that. It was actually exciting when I was testing the programs but now since my wonderful little pc is acting bizarre not so very excited. It's acting very very strangely cause half way into my exploration of the remote control host, the ppc started to freeze up and now it shows only half the screen (top and bottom not the middle) and I can only do the functions I can see, which is a joy kill. -_-

The speedfall game
(left) was fun while it lasted too. The new calender functions are pretty nifty also, and since getting the pocket, I feel...vaguely organized, not a bad feeling. All my events, contacts, and things like that are all stored inside, and I feel if I lose my ppc....that.....that would be a real bad thing. *Shrug. I suppose the purpose of the password is to deter anyone who would use my information for creepy stalking.

To lose your pocket pc, is like losing a dozen different personal organizational tools at once. Your phonebook, your e-mail contact list, your schedule, your future arrangements, your photos, your music and your little notebook full of personal messages would all go missing. As convenient as having all those tools in one place, it creates a potential liability. Who knows what kind of experienced hacker could find a way around the safeties of any pocket pcs. Being vaguely paranoid I don't think I'll be putting anything too personal on it....

But, yeah. Agile Msger wasn't as great as I thought it would be. Only limited days of instant messaging fun. Bah, a little futile because I bring my laptop everywhere. Well, a rather unenthusiastic post today, but hopefully I'll feel better and my ppc will too.

Blog 1: Introduction

Hey SpeedRacers,

Amanda here. Just posting for my IT101 class. Well, I'm from Canton, MA. I love music, play a couple instruments, enjoy skiing/snowboarding, drinking coffee, reading, my computer (and everything that's associated with it), hanging out with my friends, Risk, and just a lot of random things. I'm a really random person.

So, watch out, a Crazy Asian is loose in the blogging world..um...scratch that, there are probably too many of those to count.
